Two decades ago, the Raven was a Capellan Confederation experimental attempt to produce a 'Mech that could provide sophisticated mobile sensor and electronic warfare capability. Long produced only in the Capellan Confederation, variations on the basic Raven have recently begun appearing among the armies of most of the other Inner Sphere houses.
