For their performance on the battlefield the warriors of Clan Nova Cat get awards. There are different types of awards:

To determine which medal or ribbon is appropriate for the player's/unit's performance there are 2 different quotients the KR and the CE.

KR is the average kill ratio of all players in a team and applies to the individual players (that means if you are a replacement player in another unit you can keep the ribbons you earn. To determine the KR you just have to divide the number of ../mechs/vehicles a player killed by the number of ../mechs/vehicles a player lost. Then you just calculate the average KR for all players in your team.
Example: You killed 6 ../mechs/vehicles and lost 3 ../mechs/vehicles your team mate killed 2 ../mechs/vehicles and lost 4 ../mechs/vehicles. In this case the KR values are 2 (6/3) and 0.5 (2/4). The resulting KR for all players is 1.25 (2+0.5/2).

The average KR is important, because we despise egoistic single players in Clan Nova Cat and want to foster team play.



CE is the combat efficiency and applies to teams and units. The CE describes the ratio of destroyed (what the enemy lost) CP and lost (what your unit lost) CP. You just have to divide the destroyed CP by the lost CP.
Example: Your unit destroyed 45 CP and lost 15 CP. In this case your unit's CE value is 3 (45/15).


In the end the KR and CE are multiplied with the threat quotient. The threat quotient is the ratio of the enemy CP divided by your CP. If the enemy has less CP than you have you cannot get a golden Ribbon!

Blue ribbon with 2 lines

This ribbon equals 3 white ribbons with 2 lines		 Blue ribbon with 3 lines

Black ribbon with 1 line
